Moving on up!

Stella Ross moved up to Level 4 at Gymboree today and Gram came along for some fun. Stella Ross had a BLAST and really enjoyed the new challenges. This class even ends with Gymbo stamps, something she has never had before. She got stamps on her hands, feet and belly. I think she has already rubbed her belly stamp off she was SO proud of it!! What a fun day! I can hardly wait until next week.

The Bunny Hop

Does this look familiar?.....

This picture is almost an exact copy of our picture with Santa Claus. Stella Ross is NOT a fan, but I still make her, and Rafe, suffer through the visits so I can get a picture. Rafe was so funny sitting there with the Easter bunny, just smiling, for what seemed like 5 minutes. All I wanted was one!

Maybe next year!

The Hula Dance

Rafe's school held an Art Fair Monday night and the Kindergarten classes performed a Hawaiian dance. Rafe did NOT want to do it, but of course he didn't skip a beat and knew exactly what he was supposed to do.

A First of Many

Unfortunately Daddy had to work all weekend, but that didn't stop us from having a lot of fun. Saturday morning I asked Rafe what he wanted to do and he chose one of his favorite places, Chuck E Cheese's. Stella Ross had never been and since the weather was SO NICE I figured most people would be outside..... WRONG! We were there with about a million other people. Thankfully Rafe is old enough to play his games by himself because once Stella Ross got a taste of being out of the stroller she was gone. She had an absolute blast, squealing in excitement. She drove cars, played games, danced to the music and played on the playground. When it was time for Rafe to redeem his tickets he even used some to buy Stella Ross a prize. What a sweet boy! I so wished I had been able to take more pictures, but I should be happy I was able to get any since I was by myself!! I am sure I will have lots more opportunities in the future.

Rafe was telling Stella Ross how much fun they were going to have!

Sunday afternoon we went to the zoo. Stella Ross had not been since she was a little baby and she loves reading about and looking at animals. Once again the weather was beautiful and we had a blast! We ended our adventure on the playground and even met up with the ice cream truck. I mean, what's a hot afternoon without ice cream??

Pinehill's Its'A Me Mario!

"Bowser"

Lucky Girl!

We went to the park yesterday and enjoyed this beautiful spring weather. Rafe, once again, amazed me at how sweet and protective he was of Stella Ross. I think he was more excited about her playing than she was. He NEVER left her side and showed her how to do everything, even going down the slide and swinging with her. Stella Ross is not always appreciative of her big brother's help, but I know she will be one day. I am so proud of Rafe and hope he never thinks he is "too cool" for his sister. She is one lucky girl!!

April Fools!

This morning I played an April Fool's joke on Rafe. I poured him some cherry juice as he watched me. This is what he did....

The cup looked full, but the bottom of the glass was frozen cherry juice. I TOTALLY got him. He was just drinking along and then he stopped and said, "Hey! I can't get the rest out!!"

He loved it and cannot wait to do it to his Daddy and Gram!!

Happy April Fool's Day!!

Purple (nails) Rain!

Stella Ross had her first pedicure yesterday in honor of Mommy and Daddy going to see Prince in concert. Rafe got an absolute kick out of it. (I even painted my fingernails purple!!) Stella Ross is SO proud of her purple toes. She will be running through the house and stop to make sure they are still colored. When I got her out of bed this morning she had taken off her sleep blanket and unzipped her footed pajamas. (something she has NEVER done) I have a feeling she was trying to look at her feet. Oh MY!

By the way, this was by far the best concert I have ever been to. Prince made sure EVERYBODY was on their feet dancing. That is my kind of party! Thanks, Pop and Gram, for letting Cory and me have a very rare night out.
