Bring on the tubes!

All Rafe wants for Christmas is to be ear infection free.  It looks as though this wish will be granted!  Since Rafe has had a total of 6 ear infections in the last 3 months, with difficulty hearing, we have scheduled his ear tube surgery for 5 days before Christmas.  I am very uneasy about him being put to sleep but I am happy that he will hopefully be pain free from all of the infections.

Just when I think he doesn't want to play with his sister, I find this letter in Stella Ross's mailbox:

Disney On Ice

Gram and I took Stella Ross to Disney On Ice last Sunday.  It truly was a magical afternoon (even if Stella Ross was a little under the weather).

I take a picture of Stella Ross every year in front of our newly decorated Christmas tree before the Carolina/Clemson football game.  I realized this year that our new tradition is undefeated.  Until it changes she will be posed up every year on this special day!!

Carolina Football Saturdays

What a fabulous fall we had spending our Saturdays at Williams Brice Stadium.  Rafe went to all of the home football games, except one, and Stella Ross went to her very first game this year.  It was such a fun day.  Stella Ross even made it through the entire game!  We are already counting down to next season.  GO GAMECOCKS!!  

Meet Sally

Meet the newest member of our family....Sally!  When Fle arrived from the North Pole he brought along a special girl Elf for Stella Ross.  Needless to say there was A LOT of excitement in the house that morning.  Now every morning Rafe is up BEFORE the rooster crows to find his friend.  Hopefully Fle will write him a note very soon to remind him that he will still be with us at 7:30 a.m. just like he is at 5:30 in the morning!!

Miss Sassy

Meet my spunky, sassy 2 (almost 3) year old little girl!!!  Here is a conversation we had last night:

Me:  Stella Ross please don't get on the exercise bike again.  You are going to get hurt.

I leave the room and immediately hear her getting back on the bike.

Me:  Stella Ross if I come back in the room and you are on the bike you are going to be in trouble.

Stella Ross:  Well then, don't come back in here!

**How do you respond to that???!!!

Christmas Pictures 2012

I took Rafe and Stella Ross to have their pictures made for our Christmas card today.  It was a lot of fun.  I was very worried about how they would handle a portrait session and waiting to see the proofs, but they were FANTASTIC.  I was very pleased with the outcome and quite sad to see how much my babies have grown over the past year.  I wish I could bottle up their ages right now.  What a fun Christmas this is going to be!!!

Halloween 2012

We sure did make a lot of fun memories with Raggedy Ann and Jadeveon Clowney!  Happy Halloween!!
