This is always such a "treat" at our church! Everyone had a blast.

Beautiful Mountain Weekend

We took a quick trip to Tennessee last weekend and the leaves were beautiful. We stopped on our drive home to catch a few shots. It doesn't get much prettier than this!

* Saturday we went to Dollywood and Rafe was tall enough to ride the BIG roller coasters for the first time. Much to our surprise he was beyond excited to try them all, even riding them multiple times each. I think it is safe to say he is going to enjoy Disney World in a few months!

Boo in the Zoo!

We kicked off the Halloween trick-or-treating season on Friday night with our annual trip to Boo in the Zoo. This was Stella Ross's first time to really trick-or-treat and she took it VERY seriously. She wanted to walk all by herself and carry her own bag, thank you very much. When she received her first sucker of the night she stopped right in the middle of the line and demanded that it be opened. (she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES suckers!) Rafe had a blast with one of his best buds. Their bags were almost empty by the time we made it back to the car. They are a lot faster and sneakier about getting candy into their mouths!

Halloween Hoopla

Saturday night we went trick-or-treating in downtown Greer at the Halloween Hoopla put on by Freedom Fellowship. We do this every year and it just gets better and better. They have a Candy Lane, crafts, jump castles, music, and a movie. After this we REALLY don't need to do any more trick-or-treating!!

State Fair (and a bonus!)

Yesterday was our annual trip to the State Fair. On the way to the fairgrounds we drove by the baseball stadium to take a look and were pleasantly surprised to find the team conducting an open practice. We were thrilled to go into the stadium and watch for a few minutes .... Rafe even got a baseball! Pop and Cory wanted to stay longer but we finally coaxed them into leaving!

Once inside the fair it was time for food, rides, games and animals (Stella Ross's favorite!) Stella Ross LOVED looking at all of the animals and even taking a pony ride. Rafe spent most of his time playing games and winning prizes for himself and his sister. As usual, we had a blast!
