What an exciting weekend we had being at the big game Saturday night. I have not been a part of the tailgating scene much since becoming a mom so this one was extra special. What a fun, Fall Saturday night. GO GAMECOCKS!!

She Did It!!
We are officially POTTY-TRAINED! YAY Stella Ross! I had already decided that I was not going to push the issue on her and let her decide when she was ready. This proved to be the right strategy for Stella Ross because she decided one day after seeing some friends use the bathroom at school. From that day on she has worn big girl underwear (except at night) with NO accidents! (knock on wood!) Ironically she is the exact age Rafe was when he potty-trained and he was just as easy. Needless to say we took a celebratory trip to Target on Saturday to get a prize. She was so proud of her reward and I am SO proud of her. Way to go Stella Ross!!
sorry these are a little shaky - these were with my phone!!

Usher Rafe
This morning the children led the entire worship service at church. Rafe was an usher and did an excellent job. I thought he looked SO handsome, even if he did disagree with me. Great job, Rafe!!
A Magical Morning!
Saturday morning Stella Ross, her Daddy, and I had breakfast with the Princesses. Stella Ross was a little shy at first, but quickly warmed up to have her picture made with her favorite princess, Snow White! Chick Fil-A really made everyone feel like they were royalty. All of the workers had on tuxedos and they even had a violinist play music while we dined. This proved to me that another trip to Disney World is going to be in our near future!!!

Happy 8th Birthday Rafe!!
I cannot CANNOT believe I am writing about Rafe's 8th birthday. Where have the last 8 years gone? I am so proud of him and the young man he is becoming. We have had a blast celebrating for the past month. We decided to have his birthday party a month early so we wouldn't have to worry about the cooler fall temperatures. (thank goodness!!) Everyone had a blast swimming and sliding down the gigantic water slide.
Tuesday was Rafe's actual birthday and he was greeted downstairs with doughnuts and magic tricks - two of his favorite things!!
Stella Ross, Gram and I had lunch with Rafe at school and took popsicles for his class to enjoy. Stella Ross was SO excited to eat lunch with her big brother!
After eating dinner at Moe's (Rafe's choice) we celebrated some more with ice cream cake and presents from Gram and Pop. I think their gift was his favorite one - a Kleenex box filled with money!! How fun!
Happy birthday to one VERY SPECIAL boy. We love you SO much!!
Story Time
These pictures were taken yesterday morning with my phone so they are a bit fuzzy, but too cute not to share. Stella Ross LOVES to sit in the floor next to Bowser and read books after breakfast. So sweet!
Weekend in Columbia
We took a trip to Columbia last weekend to kick-off what I like to call "birthday week" for Rafe. On Saturday we went to EdVenture and to the USC football game and Sunday we went to Riverbanks Zoo. It was a perfect weekend celebrating our favorite little 8 year old!!
