We're Ready!!
We are ready for Miss Stella Ross to arrive. It is so hard to believe she will be here in less than a month (we hope!!). My mom and I have had so much fun working in her nursery. It makes me so happy every time I walk by it. What a great Christmas we are going to have!

A Thanksgiving Feast
Today was Rafe's Thanksgiving Feast at school. As always it was such a special treat. They really put out a spread and what makes it even better is that the children prepare the food they eat! The 3K classes were all pilgrims and the 4K children were Indians. I must say, Rafe was the cutest Indian I have ever seen. His name was "Brave Buffalo". How thankful I am for Rafe's wonderful school and the dear friends and families we have met there. Happy Thanksgiving!

Stella Ross's Shower
Saturday was a very special day for Miss Stella Ross. I had a luncheon/baby shower at Brick Street Cafe hosted by my mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and Cory's aunt. It was such a wonderful treat. I had a great time visiting with my friends and family and eating DELICIOUS food. I would have to say after this shower we are more than ready to bring this baby girl home. Everyone was SO generous and I really appreciated all of it. I can't wait to see Stella Ross in these gorgeous things she was given. How blessed I am to have such wonderful friends and family.

A "Spooktacular" Weekend!
We had a fabulous Halloween weekend. Friday was Rafe's Pumpkin Pizza Party at school. (can you tell they were studying the letter "P"!!) It was a lot of fun. The children made pumpkin hats, ate pizza, and played a fun spider game.

Getting ready for the good stuff
On Halloween night we met some friends downtown to trick-or-treat. It was a good thing we went early. The rain held off until we had completely filled our bucket up. Rafe had a wonderful time trick-or-treating until we went to the "scary" house. He was chased out of it with a chain saw and will never be the same!!

Pumpkin Patch
This morning Rafe's class went on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. Everyone had a great time. We went on a hayride, learned about the different things you can do with apples and pumpkins, touched goats and rabbits, went through a maze, and finally picked apples and pumpkins. All of the boys and girls were so cute picking out the perfect apples and pumpkins. What a pleasure it was to be a part of this fun day!

Fun Fall Weekend
We had a fantastic weekend. Saturday afternoon we went to the S.C. State Fair. This is one of our favorite things to do each year. The weather was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed riding rides, playing games and, of course, eating too much junk food!
to leave with a BIG Hulk and Superman. Rafe really needed all of this but
what fun is the fair if you don't come away with a few sawdust animals!
Last night was the annual Trunk or Treat at church. This is also a fall favorite. It is so much fun to see all of the children dressed up in their adorable Halloween costumes. Rafe had a ball. We played a lot of fun games before FILLING up his Batman bucket with candy. He doesn't need to trick-or-treat now!
