Boo in the Zoo

Friday night we went to Boo in the Zoo with a scary werewolf and adorable bumble bee. The werewolf was so scary that even the monkeys were afraid of him. It was hilarious.! We were just walking by their cage and noticed that all of them were jumping down to get closer to Rafe. Rafe stood up closer to their cage and they started making noises and giving him the meanest stare. It was quite a scene. Lots of people were stopping to watch. Stella Ross really seemed to enjoy her first trick-or-treating adventure. She loved looking at all of the costumes and, of course, dressing up herself. What a fun night!!

Introducing Bowser

The newest addition to our family was born last Friday, October 15. Pop's dog, Lilly, has 5 puppies that we get to love on for a few weeks before we bring our little puppy home. It is going to be a bittersweet transition when we get this new little one. We cannot imagine loving another dog as much as we did Buck, but Rafe can hardly wait!! Stella Ross squeals every time we visit them, but we learned real quickly she is NOT ready to hold them!!

Rafe and Bowser

While my brother is at school.....

I get to play in the playroom all by myself. He can't even get mad at me for "slobbering" on his toys!! I LOVE it!!

Go, Stella Ross, Go!

Stella Ross is on the go these days. She does not ever sit still, unless she is looking at a book or eating. (two of her favorite things to do) Nothing gets in her way from getting what she wants. She will climb over things, move things out of the way, crawl under, GO OUTSIDE ON THE PORCH BY HERSELF (ugh!!), anything she wants over and over again until she finds what she is looking for. I know Rafe was a busy baby, but she seems to be even busier! Uh oh!! It is so much fun, though. I love her little personality, especially when we sing "Itsy bitsy spider" and she does the motions. This girl LOVES music. We were watching the football game this weekend and she heard "Dynamite" from the television and started dancing. Too cute!! I wish I could just bottle up all of the cute things she is doing and keep her this size for a very long time. She is at such a fun age.

What are you looking for?

Here it is!

Yay!!

and look who is drinking out of her cup now!!

Silly Monkeys

Rafe and Stella Ross love to hang out in Rafe's tent. They are so cute in there together. I had to pull both of them out this morning before school.

Fun Fall Weekend!

We had a very busy, but very fun weekend. Friday night was the fall festival at Rafe's school. As a child I can remember having a blast at our fall festival and I do believe Rafe enjoyed his. After playing games and jumping he seemed to have the most fun playing on the playground with all of his school buddies.

Rafe and his buddy, Landon

the best game, The Cakewalk!!

Who is that??

I don't have any pictures of Saturday, but needless to say EVERYONE in our house had a great day!! GO GAMECOCKS!!

Sunday afternoon we went with Pop and Gram to the zoo. This was Stella Ross's first visit to the zoo and she loved it. I think her favorite animal, along with her brother, was the monkey!

I love this picture. This says it all about
Rafe and the elephants!!!

Stella Ross enjoyed her view of the monkeys

Rafe does LOVE the monkeys and
the funny sounds they make

What a fun afternoon!
